It’s been awhile since we both visited Nashville, so when we were thinking about heading to New Orleans for Mardi Gras we decided to swing by Tennessee on the way and visit with Carly, Josh and Luna. We walked, we talked, we ate – all the necessary components for a wonderful catch-up visit!
On our “adult day”, the four grown-ups tried to make a prison break via the Escape Game, but alas, we were seconds short of making our escape when the warden caught us and sent us back to our cells. After lunch though we were back in the game with visits to not one but two different distilleries. Between those and a couple of special cocktail spots during the trip, we felt motivated to get a few things from the liquor store and make our own fancy drinks. Here’s to family!
